About us
Paterson Gordon Architecture is an award-winning, contemporary architectural practice. We approach each project individually and work to balance the needs of our client, brief and design aesthetics with the opportunities of the site, budget and sustainability considerations.
We have extensive experience gained from many years in private practice, which allows us to bring knowledge, creativity and professionalism to your project. We are registered with the Architect’s Registration Board (ARB) and are members of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS). We carry professional indemnity insurance to a value of £1m.
We designed and built our own extension to our listed cottage at Loch Lomond. We accomplished this almost entirely without the use of professional trades as a true ‘self-build’. It allowed us to act as client, architect and builder so we completely understand the process from start to finish and since we’ve experienced the challenges and triumphs of designing and building your own home, we are able to lead our clients through what can appear to be a daunting process.
If you would like to discuss your ideas for a project, we would be delighted to hear from you.
