Autumn 2023

It's been a busy time at Paterson Gordon Architecture with planning applications submitted for projects in Dumfriesshire, Lochwinnoch, Cairndow, Tayvallich and Luss.

Summer 2023

We're enjoying working on proposals for an extension to and renovation of an existing cottage in the Knapdale Forest, Argyll. Visuals from Studio Stravaig are helping us to explore various options for materials.

Spring 2023

We're going back to basics with our new-build dwelling just outside Luss. Sometimes card models are the ideal way to explore options for form and materials.

Winter 2022/2023

We are thrilled that our own self-build extension at 1 Roselea Cottages, Aldochlay has won the 'Best Extension' category at the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding & Renovating awards!

Autumn 2022

We are thrilled to be shortlisted for the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding & Renovating Awards for our own self-build project at 1 Roselea Cottages, Aldochlay. Fingers crossed for the awards announcement on 8th December!

Summer 2022

We are delighted to reach Practical Completion on our extension project at Davidson Lea, Kippen. This project involved a new single-storey, double-height extension to accommodate a new entrance area and living space. A further new single-storey extension contains a useful utility room. Materials used include render, brickwork and zinc with large glazed sliding patio doors.

We are delighted to have reached practical completion on our two-storey extension project in Hillside Avenue, Bearsden.

Winter 2021

Our two-storey extension at Rhu, Argyll is keeping out the cold weather with the insulation being fitted this week.

Autumn 2021

Two storey steelwork has slotted into place on our two storey extension project in Rhu, Argyll. Steelwork is always one of our favourite stages of a project when you can really start to see the volume of the new space.

We’ve been delighted to support our local community group ‘Grey Matters’ with the donation of a tasty hamper from Ardardan for their ‘Older People’s Day’ event on 1st October. They also provide some great activities for the local children – my two daughters loved their recent fairy house hunt!
