SPRING 2025

We are thrilled with progress on our extension & renovation on Argyll's secret coast. This includes the installation of a new 3m x 1m rooflight!

WINTER 2024/2025

Our conservation & renovation project near Luss is progressing well. We're using a breathable insulation to allow the existing natural stonework to breathe & avoid any future potential damp issues. The Warmshell process which we have used here involves the application of a levelling coat, woodfibre board, air/vapour control layer, Fermacell board then plaster. Breathable paint is then used for final decoration.

Autumn 2024

Planning application submitted for a new-build dwelling in Helensburgh's conservation area. This project has been sited sensitively to retain views from the surrounding villas whilst enjoying its own vista. Danish format brick cladding provides a modern take on the local stonework.

Summer 2024

All consents are now in place for our extension in Dumfriesshire! We can't wait to see this one take shape on site.

It's been a busy time at Paterson Gordon Architecture with planning applications submitted for projects in Dumfriesshire, Lochwinnoch, Cairndow, Tayvallich and Luss.

Summer 2023

We're enjoying working on proposals for an extension to and renovation of an existing cottage in the Knapdale Forest, Argyll. Visuals from Studio Stravaig are helping us to explore various options for materials.

Spring 2023

We're going back to basics with our new-build dwelling just outside Luss. Sometimes card models are the ideal way to explore options for form and materials.
